Privacy

ZJX has no telemetry and no account. It works offline and never sends your files or usage anywhere. Paid license keys are checked on your own machine, with no activation server. The only network request ZJX makes on its own is the optional update check below.

If automatic updates are on, ZJX asks our update server about once a day whether a new version exists. That request reveals your IP address and your edition, version, platform and update channel. For paid editions it also includes your license identifier, because each paid build is made for its buyer.

Update requests never include file names, paths, passwords, archive contents or usage data. We keep update-server records for 30 days, use them only to deliver updates and protect the service, and you can switch automatic update checks off at any time.

Each Pro, Ultra and Mythic download is stamped with its license identifier, and archives created by paid editions carry a certificate that identifies the license that made them. Anyone you share such an archive with can see that identifier. ZJX Basic archives carry only an unsigned tag with the ZJX version and edition. The license agreement explains this in Section 12.

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card number. We keep what we need to issue your license, support you, handle refunds and meet tax and legal obligations: your name, email address, edition, seat count and transaction records. We keep order records for as long as tax law requires.

zjx.app uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard request logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the service.

When you reserve an edition or ask to be told about a download, we store your email address, the editions and platforms you chose, and when you signed up. It's kept in private storage on Vercel.

We use it only to email you about what you asked for. We don't send newsletters from it and never sell or share it.

Email us from the address you used and we'll delete it.
